About The Position

Join a dynamic warehouse team as an Operator 2 in Covington, GA! As a vital member of our operations, you’ll handle essential logistics tasks and operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move goods efficiently. This contractor position offers a steady Monday–Friday schedule (11am–7:30pm), competitive hourly pay ($17.50/hr + $1 shift differential), and the opportunity to grow your skill set in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 0–1 year warehouse or related experience/training
• Forklift operation experience (must complete and attach forklift questionnaire)
• Basic skills in material handling, logistics, or manufacturing production
• Effective English communication and basic math skills
• Ability to lift/move over 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (walking, standing, climbing, etc.)
• General computer literacy

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in metrics-driven environments
• Prior exposure to warehouse conditions (temperature extremes, noise, mechanical parts)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, handcarts, conveyers, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within the warehouse
• Perform routine material handling and logistics tasks, maintaining accuracy in inventory movement and documentation
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality and safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of materials and goods handled
• Communicate effectively with team leads, supervisors, and co-workers to coordinate daily tasks
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in cross-functional warehouse duties as needed
• Consistently meet productivity metrics while upholding safety standards
