Operator 2 (Tape & Reel 3rd)

Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 3rd Shift Tape & Reel Operator responsible for placing electrical components onto tape & reel machines in preparation for shipping productions to customers. Job Location: Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away! Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret production documents.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Responsibilities
- Setting up tape & reel machines.
- Running, monitoring, and adjusting tape & reel machines and peripheral equipment.
- Preparing paperwork and labels for the reels.
- Ensuring reels are filled with proper quantity of product.
- Recording necessary information in logbooks and Dynamics E-logs
