About The Position

Join a leading manufacturing team in Columbus, NE as an Operator 1, Other Production. In this urgent contractor position, you will play a critical role in reprocessing, inspecting, labeling, and packaging products within a regulated, team-oriented environment. This is a mid-shift role (core hours: 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., with 2-hour flexibility), Monday through Friday, offering hands-on experience in a high-quality production setting compliant with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000/13485 standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant production or quality control experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to interpret specifications and perform basic math
• Willingness to work flexible/extended hours and maintain punctuality
• Comfortable wearing steel toes and working in a regulated environment

Nice To Haves

• Background in quality control or regulated manufacturing
• Familiarity with FDA, GMP, or ISO9000/13485-compliant processes
• Experience with visual inspections and paperwork in production settings

Responsibilities

• Reprocess products and handle parts with precision and care
• Conduct visual and basic gauging inspections to ensure quality standards
• Accurately complete paperwork and maintain detailed records/logs
• Package, label, and prepare products for distribution
• Rotate through multiple production tasks as required
• Support team objectives and contribute to a collaborative work environment
• Follow standard operating procedures and comply with regulatory guidelines
