About The Position
This role requires effective communication and teamwork skills, the ability to follow instructions (written and verbal), and the safe and accurate completion of assigned duties while maintaining GMP standards. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling products using a forklift and pallet jack. The position also involves maintaining receiving/shipping logs, ensuring the condition of incoming and outgoing products, and moving materials according to the FIFO standard. The worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse. This is a PM position.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to follow instructions (written and verbal)
- Must be able to safely and accurately complete assigned duties
- Must maintain GMP standards
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk or stand for most of the shift
- Must be able to operate a forklift in a safe manner
- Requires high school diploma, or equivalent
- Must pass forklift test and driver test that is given by the company
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, reach, push, pull, twist, crawl, climb stairs/ladders
- Reading, writing, seeing, hearing, communicating, adding, subtracting and understanding instructions
Nice To Haves
- Additional post-secondary education is preferred (Technical or Vocational education) in areas of material handling, warehouse, distribution, packaging, etc.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and or distribution environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
