About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including loading and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling products. The operator will use a forklift and pallet jack to move materials according to the FIFO standard and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse. The position requires effective communication and teamwork, the ability to follow instructions, and adherence to GMP standards. This is a PM position.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment
Must be able to follow instructions (written and verbal)
Must be able to safely and accurately complete assigned duties
Must maintain GMP standards
Requires high school diploma, or equivalent
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to walk or stand for most of the shift
Must pass forklift test and driver test that is given by the company
Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, reach, push, pull, twist, crawl, climb stairs/ladders
Reading, writing, seeing, hearing, communicating, adding, subtracting and understanding instructions

Nice To Haves

Additional post-secondary education is preferred (Technical or Vocational education) in areas of material handling, warehouse, distribution, packaging, etc.
Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and or distribution environment is preferred

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading trucks
Receiving raw materials and products
Picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling products
Using forklift and pallet jack
Moving raw and packaging materials to the production area using the FIFO standard
Maintaining receiving/shipping logs
Ensuring incoming and outgoing products and materials are in good condition
Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse
Operating a forklift in a safe manner
Performing other duties as assigned
