About The Position

We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery -15 pack - 1st Shift to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 1, Bakery -15 pack - 1st Shift, you will be accountable for supporting the packaging process by operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safe and efficient production operations. This role plays an important part in delivering high-quality bakery products that meet Aspire Bakeries’ production, food safety, and customer standards.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production demands.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform repetitive physical activities throughout the shift.
Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud environments, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Computer literacy.
Food manufacturing experience.
Experience operating production or packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate and adjust packaging equipment to ensure products meet specifications and production requirements.
Monitor product quality and food safety standards throughout the packaging process.
Package bakery products using manual and automated packaging processes to meet production goals.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Communicate equipment, quality, safety, and production concerns to appropriate team members.
Support efficient production by following schedules, running orders, and established procedures.
Collaborate with team members to achieve operational and performance objectives.
