If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery – Sheeter – 3rd Shift to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 1, Bakery – Sheeter – 3rd Shift, you will be accountable for supporting the safe and efficient operation of the sheeting line by maintaining product flow, monitoring process controls, and ensuring product quality standards are achieved. This role is critical to maximizing production efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting food safety and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as an Ingredient Operator or in a related manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic knowledge of dough processing, bakery operations, or food manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to understand process controls and make routine operational adjustments.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to accurately document production data and operate computer-based systems.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, push, pull, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing, production, or packaging environment.
  • Familiarity with bakery production processes and dough handling operations.
  • Experience conducting quality inspections and documenting production data.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, and workplace safety practices.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, or Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Support sheeting line operations to maintain consistent product flow and production efficiency.
  • Monitor process controls, product specifications, and dough quality to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Stage and handle materials to support uninterrupted production operations.
  • Perform quality inspections and maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Identify and communicate equipment, process, or product issues to production leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to GMP and food safety standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
