About The Position

We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery- Sanitation - 3rd Shift to join our team at our bakery in Ontario, CA. As an Operator 1, Bakery- Sanitation - 3rd Shift, you will be accountable for maintaining a clean, safe, and food‑safe facility by performing daily sanitation activities that support production, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1–3 years of manufacturing sanitation experience
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use tools
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn multiple sanitation tasks and procedures

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish
Experience in food manufacturing or bakery environments
Familiarity with dry and wet sanitation cleaning methods
Experience using sanitation chemicals and documentation systems

Responsibilities

Perform daily sanitation activities to ensure plant, equipment, and grounds meet food safety and cleanliness standards
Execute dry and wet cleaning procedures in accordance with established sanitation programs and instructions
Safely use and maintain sanitation chemicals, tools, and equipment
Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and consistently (KLEANZ forms)
Manage time effectively to meet assigned cleaning schedules and productivity expectations
Maintain accountability for sanitation tools, equipment, and materials
Support sanitation leadership by completing assigned tasks and contributing to team success
