About The Position

The Operations Training & Development Specialist is a hands-on role focused on building and delivering new hire training programs at the AZ facility. This person works side by side with Operations, Quality, and Safety teams to design practical, floor-ready training content — and then facilitates it. This is a builder role at a company where very little formal training infrastructure exists today. You'll be co-developing the tools, job aids, and assessments that help our workforce hit the ground running — and grow over time. You'll split your time between the production floor and your desk, so comfort in both environments matters. This role is a 6 month (approx) temporary assignment.

  • Able to take loosely defined processes and turn them into structured, usable training materials
  • Strong communicator who can partner and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where not everything is figured out yet
  • Someone who gets things done — flexible, resourceful, and relentlessly follow-through
  • Must be able to work near food ingredients and allergens
  • Must be able to lift 15–25 lbs at times
  • Works inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment
  • Role requires time on the production floor as well as at a desk
