Based in Kwinana, this opportunity would suit a qualified locomotive driver who possesses a CERT IV in Training and Assessing and is looking to progress their career to a leadership/training role. Ensure all training and assessing comply with legislative/statutory obligations. Develop, deliver, evaluate and review local training and assessment documents to support rail safety worker training. Conduct job tuition of trainees in accordance with Aurizon’s RTO standards. Develop gap training plans and conduct re-training and assessment of rail safety workers who are assessed against the required criteria as not yet competent. Coordinate route and traction assessments for Locomotive Drivers. Ensure all training and assessment documentation is appropriately maintained, completed and recorded. Contribute to the review and continuous improvement of training materials and methods and safety / operational procedures. Conduct training, assessment and ongoing re-assessment as required to comply with relevant network safeworking requirements for rail safety workers. Operate scheduled train services as a Locomotive Driver to maintain train operating competency and assist with operational requirements.
