The Role The Operations Technician II coordinates LTGSI fleet vehicles, tools, and test equipment to support operational readiness, asset accountability, and field operations.

Requirements

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and work in limited weather-exposed conditions.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and a government security investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet vehicles, tools, and test equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate repair, maintenance, and calibration activities.
  • Issue and receive tools and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Support Engineering, Project Management, and Logistics teams with equipment coordination, shipping, and asset tracking.
  • Process approved overhead orders through SAP and corporate purchasing procedures, providing status updates as needed.
  • Coordinate fleet vehicle maintenance, inspections, licensing, assignments, pooled vehicle usage, and vehicle disposition activities.
  • Verify completion of required driver training and recurring refresher courses.
  • Review existing procedures annually and develop new documentation to support operational requirements and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, asset management standards, and operational guidelines.
