About The Position

The Operations Team Member is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to build a career in HVAC wholesale distribution. Team members begin by supporting daily delivery operations while learning every aspect of branch operations, including warehouse functions, inventory, customer service, and counter sales. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with people, and growing within an organization.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
DOT medical certification (or ability to obtain, if required).

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver HVAC equipment and supplies safely and on time.
Load and unload delivery vehicles.
Verify deliveries for accuracy.
Obtain customer signatures and required documentation.
Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle.
Receive and stock incoming inventory.
Pull customer orders accurately.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory organization.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
Represent Johnstone Supply Upstate Group professionally at every customer location.
Assist customers with loading products.
Build positive relationships with contractors.
Support the counter sales team during busy periods.
Assist with branch operations as needed.
Participate in safety meetings and training.
Learn company products and systems.
Cross-train in warehouse, counter sales, and inventory functions.
