About The Position

The Operations Team Lead (Distribution) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and activities within the distribution center environment. Responsibilities involve leading a team of associates, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a high standard of productivity and safety.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years in a distribution center or warehouse environment
  • 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role

Nice To Haves

  • SAP or Oracle experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and software (e.g., WMS)
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support floor associates by providing guidance and training to foster a positive, collaborative, and safe work environment
  • Oversee daily receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, adjusting staffing levels dynamically to hit productivity goals
  • Implement quality control measures, enforce safety standards, and conduct regular audits to ensure high order accuracy
  • Assist with cycle counts and coordinate with inventory teams to maintain stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies
  • Analyze and track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement while coordinating with logistics and management
