About The Position

The Operations Systems Technician helps maintain, support, and troubleshoot the Cooperative's operational technology (OT) systems, including GIS mapping systems, radio communications systems, field technology platforms, mobile applications, and related operational data systems. This position supports system reliability, data quality, operational reporting, cybersecurity, and technology adoption while serving as a bridge between field operations, engineering, and information technology. The role also supports documentation, process improvement, business intelligence initiatives, operational continuity, and the long-term development and modernization of Cooperative operational technology systems. This position is expected to develop increasing expertise in operational technology system support, cybersecurity, business intelligence, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and emerging utility technologies.

Requirements

• Experience with GIS mapping systems.
• Experience with radio communications systems.
• Experience with field technology platforms.
• Experience with mobile applications.
• Experience with operational data systems.
• Understanding of system reliability and data quality principles.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities
