The NIWC Atlantic Non-traditional Sensors, Effects, Communications, & Technology (NSECT) Operations Support Specialist supports IPT Leadership and Team Leads through: Tracking and maintaining IPT-level task trackers, deliverables, and communications. Coordinating meetings and visits including external partners, senior leadership, sponsors, or as directed by the IPT Lead and IPT Tech Lead. Taking meeting notes, as directed by the IPT Lead and IPT Tech Lead. Tracking and supporting material acquisition procurements. Create and maintain an IPT material inventory. Assisting IPT Leadership with Knowledge Management tasks. The successful candidate has an eagerness to learn about cybersecurity, quantum sensors, electronic warfare, optical communications, and radio frequency communications.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Apps, especially Excel, Planner, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate in both written and verbal format to stakeholders
  • Ensures problems are communicated from teams up to leadership, and vice versa.
  • TS//SCI Preferably, S minimum Security Clearance
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
