Health, vision, and dental start day one Employee stock discount 401K Match of 5% Job Description: The person hired for the position OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST of will work at our 3M HAVERHILL, MA plant site. As an OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials; prepare, load, and ship outbound orders with accurate documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, packing lists). Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to load/unload trucks, move materials, and prepare pallets (including wrapping and weighing). Coordinate shipping and logistics activities, including scheduling pickups and preparing customer shipments. Maintain inventory accuracy by recording material movements, assisting with cycle counts, and tracking usage of packaging and production supplies. Support overall plant operations by managing scrap/recycling, maintaining 5S standards, assisting with manufacturing and Quality Control as needed, and completing additional tasks assigned by leadership. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws. Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start) One (1) year experience required in Warehouse or Production setting in a private, public, government or military environment,

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated expertise operating powered industrial vehicles (PIV), including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, with a strong safety record and ability to obtain/maintain certification.
  • Proven success in high-volume manufacturing or warehouse environments, consistently supporting efficient material flow and minimizing production downtime.
  • Advanced experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, MES), with a track record of highly accurate data entry and transaction processing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience performing cycle counts, resolving inventory discrepancies, and improving inventory accuracy.
  • Effective cross-functional communicator with the ability to collaborate across shifts, proactively address issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
