About The Position

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and people-focused Operations Support Specialist to support our branch with payroll, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR administration. This role will serve as a central point of contact for employees who need help understanding payroll, timesheets, per diem, benefit eligibility, incentives, and other employment-related questions. The right person will be approachable, detail-oriented, confidential, and able to follow through without being chased. This is a key support position within a busy branch environment. Success in this role requires accuracy, confidentiality, responsiveness, and a genuine desire to help employees while keeping important payroll and HR processes organized.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of administrative, payroll, HR support, or related experience preferred
  • Proficiency with computer systems, email, Microsoft Office, and basic data entry

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a central support contact for employee questions related to payroll, timesheets, per diem, benefits eligibility, 401(k), incentives, and general HR processes
  • Review and support accurate timesheet tracking, time and attendance records, per diem calculations, and payroll-related documentation
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee paperwork, and new hire coordination
  • Track employee incentives, reimbursement requests, eligibility timelines, and required follow-up items
  • Coordinate annual reviews, employee follow-ups, DOT physicals, fit testing, and compliance-related scheduling
  • Support certified payroll and other required payroll/compliance documentation
  • Maintain organized and confidential employee records
  • Communicate clearly with employees, management, and corporate support teams
  • Help improve follow-through, communication, and consistency across branch employee processes
