Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency (GED) is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role in a professional setting required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative tasks for leaders such as answering the phone, processing mail, maintaining files, entering data, preparing professional documents (e.g., letters, spreadsheets, presentations), and overseeing petty cash.
  • Professionally greets customers, team members, vendors, and visitors, ensuring compliance with company security and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures.
  • Ensures the front lobby and desk area present a positive and professional appearance.
  • Reviews and processes production work orders.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves inventory and work order discrepancies.
  • Works with the Product Data Management team on Product Change Management changes and new item setup.
  • Manages all team members/breakroom communication, ensuring effective communication and organization within the breakroom area. Examples include creating, maintaining, and posting production metrics, plant communications, and updating employment law posters.
  • Supports new hire orientation, including welcoming new hires, preparing and processing new hire paperwork, setting up technology, completing I-9 verifications, and assigning lockers and badges.
  • Oversees the management of all team member uniforms and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Coordinates meaningful recognition initiatives to celebrate team member contributions.
  • Supports and/or coordinates team member recognition events (e.g., picnic) and wellness work perks (e.g., June Dairy Month celebration), including logistics, communication, and vendor coordination.
  • Manages and stocks office, mailing, and breakroom supplies by monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Coordinates and maintains meeting space as needed.
  • Assists with the administration of workers' compensation claims, incident reporting, recordkeeping of safety training, safety vendor management/ordering, regulatory data gathering, and assistance in reporting.
  • Collaborates with the payroll team to accurately apply payroll deductions.
  • May process donation requests and coordinate donation distributions.
  • May support responsibilities associated with the retail store, including inventory and order management, invoicing, and entering data into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
