The specialist will assist frontline and key support departments with complex member inquiries, account issues, research, and document requests, while also providing support for all functions processed in the Operations department. A key aspect of this role involves answering member calls, providing assistance, or directing calls appropriately. The position emphasizes outstanding member service and internal support to frontline staff, along with maintaining a thorough working knowledge of related Florida statutes and applicable federal regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing Trust Documents, Power of Attorney, and Guardianship documents for compliance, administering the Credit Union’s Safe Deposit Box program, notary commissioning program, and Medallion Signature Guarantee program. Additionally, the role involves providing guidance on check negotiation, backup support for deceased account inquiries, representing the Credit Union during safe-deposit box inventories, reviewing and balancing operational reports, and resolving member and staff escalations. Other duties as assigned by management are also part of this role.
