About The Position

As a member of the Operations Team, the Operations Support Professional will report directly to the Manager, District Service line, supporting the district management team and will work out of their assigned location. The primary function of this position is to assist with tasks both inside and outside of the shop, as well as in the field as needed.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Class 5 License (Clean abstract)
• This is a Safety sensitive position: Pre-employment testing is required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Demonstrated commitment to Safety, with prior experience pro-actively identifying and addressing potential hazards in the shop and on the job-site
• Hardworking, works well alone, self-starter, highly organized, orderly & meticulous
• Mature workers who pride themselves on reliability are encouraged to apply
• Those residing within 30 minutes of their base location will be prioritized

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical Aptitude is appreciated, previous experience in a similar role is preferred: tool shed, parts, maintenance, mechanical, operations etc.
• Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Abide by the policies set forth in the Company’s quality and Safety manuals, maintain safety standards at all times in the shop and yard and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• General daily facility up-keep, maintenance and organization of shop and yard
• Wash equipment & trucks, repack various pumps, pressure test equipment, pick up parts, complete facility maintenance as required etc.
• Sweep shop floor, yard and work areas as required according to daily, weekly and monthly parameters and protocol
• Assist with maintenance and general repair work on truck mounted oilfield service equipment, hydraulic components, and heavy trucks etc.
• Assist maintenance and field professionals where an extra set of hands is required in the shop and/or yard
• Operate forklift as required to support shop and yard operations, including equipment movement, loading/unloading, and pressure testing activities; previous forklift experience is preferred, and training may be provided
• Greasing / Servicing tractors, pressure pumping equipment, iron, valves etc.
• Hotshot oilfield service equipment to oilfield sites as required
• Support field operation crews as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work hours to support operational requirements, including occasional extended shifts
• Complete other duties as required
