About The Position

This role requires the application of in-depth knowledge of professional standards and precedents in the area of specialty. The incumbent will work on complex problems where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Responsibilities include accountability for the quality of work delivered by external suppliers, decision-making authority, and autonomy to achieve team goals. The role involves influencing others outside of the team, resolving conflicts effectively, and potentially leading multi-functional work groups or project teams. The incumbent may also determine new methods and procedures, build internal and external relationships, and interface with senior managers on specialized issues.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in engineering, business, SCM, organization design, operational and quality processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in appropriate industry standards such as ISO, TL, QS, Baldrige
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge in database design, system architecture, business process re-engineering, change management, facilitation in a consensus environment and software engineering processes
  • Eight plus years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Procures or adapts change management tools for use on Celestica projects and initiatives.
  • Procures or develops education to support the use of the CM methodology.
  • Provides CM knowledge transfer to Celestica internal consultants, Project leaders and sponsors.
  • Provides guidance to project leaders and sponsors on effective change management practices.
  • Establishes and executes consulting agreements and measures with Celestica project sponsors and leaders.
  • Promotes the use of change management within Celestica.
