Title: Operations Support Center Technician Full-Time/Part-Time: Full time FLSA: United States of America (Non-Exempt) Description: JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Support Center (OSC) Technician is responsible for remotely monitoring and analyzing field operations, communicating observed data with field staff, scheduling and coordinating water hauling activity and completing administrative tasks as designated by management.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • General knowledge of Oil and Gas Operations and Logistics
  • Customer service attitude with a willingness to help all divisions within the company
  • Ability to read and effectively manage data capture and data flow into various databases and systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Logistics Software’s, SCADA systems
  • 1+ years’ experience as an OSC technician, control room technician, water dispatcher or similar role
  • Must have intermediate software skills with the ability to learn new programs as needed
  • Must possess the necessary communication skills to successfully communicate between all groups
  • The ability to use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Basic use of office equipment such as copier and fax machines
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to concentrate
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years’ experience working in the Oil & Gas industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze producing wells/pads using a computer console with multiple screens that ties to the SCADA system
  • Monitor field operations and evaluate criteria to determine if human intervention is required, or if the issue can be solved remotely
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with field employee(s) of ongoing issues
  • Assess alarms and assist field leadership as directed to remotely rectify issues
  • Properly shut in or adjust wells remotely as directed by field leadership and engineering
  • Schedule and coordinate all water hauling and disposal logistics throughout the play with third party hauling companies
  • Complete administrative functions assigned by management, specifically pertaining to reviewing and verifying water hauling and disposal tickets
  • Maintain strong familiarity with all safety and environmental procedures and policies.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
