The Opportunity We are seeking an Operations Support professional to join our team at our JFK Station in Inwood, NY. You will coordinate and execute freight movements across multiple transportation modes while working closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure efficiency and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Comfortable in high-volume environments
• Tech-savvy with ability to learn systems quickly
• Ability to type at least 35 words per minute
• Weekend availability required
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Inspect outbound freight and verify shipment accuracy
• Assign carriers and manage load tendering
• Communicate updates and resolve shipment issues
• Maintain accurate data in transportation systems
• Support quoting, costing, and invoicing
• Negotiate freight rates and build carrier relationships
