About The Position

The Operations Support Assistant – Front Desk creates exceptional experiences for clients and associates through friendly interactions and support. In addition, this position provides office administrative support for the Atlanta office.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years’ experience providing customer service support.
  • Above-average proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Strong internal and external customer service skills, along with the ability to develop sound relationships.
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet time sensitive deadlines required. Must be able to work under pressure and time constraints. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed.
  • Above-average verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Switchboard experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greets visitors and contacts appropriate associate and/or directs visitors to proper location.
  • Answers incoming communication lines with professional warmth and courtesy; locates appropriate associate and directs calls to destination without delay as required.
  • Provides assistance with all incoming and outgoing mail, meeting and conference room coordination, supply requisition, and other office housekeeping duties.
  • Processes benefit commissions and carrier statements.
  • Provides administrative support to associates needing assistance with projects including FedEx shipments, and event essentials such as creating name tents, setting up catering, etc.
  • Provides backup assistance and support to the Office Operations team
  • Orders and organizes coffee shipments bi-weekly based on current inventory.
  • Manages copier maintenance including placing service calls and ordering necessary supplies.
  • Assists in set-up for video conferences across offices.
  • Help stock kitchen supplies, keep coffee machines maintained, and clean out office refrigerator(s).
