About The Position

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc., a subsidiary of LG Energy Solution, provides grid-scale integrated energy storage systems. The Operations Supply Chain Co-Op joins the Operations Supply Chain team and reports to the Sr. Manager of Materials and Logistics. The role provides exposure to inventory management and reporting, master data control, procurement, and logistics, with potential focus on one or two areas depending on business needs. It also offers some exposure to strategic sourcing and supplier quality control.

The Co-Op works with Inventory Warehouse, Planning, Quality, Project Management, Engineering, Service, and external suppliers. The position may be based in a home office in Westborough, Massachusetts, or remotely in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Weekly hours are determined based on the school schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree focused on Supply Chain roles, including knowledge of Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Supply Chain best practices, or enrollment in a Supply Chain-focused Co-Op program and being in the last semester of the program.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships across multiple departments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and contribute as a team player.
• Sound business judgment and decision-making ability within established business processes and procedures.
• Attention to detail, good follow-up, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• For Phoenix-based candidates, ability to travel to a factory or warehouses in the Phoenix area one to two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Administer and report inventory positions across multiple warehouses, review excess and obsolescence, and support daily inventory transactions or maintenance as needed.
• Collect and analyze data on global spares inventory levels to help define and track critical Service spare parts by geographic stocking location.
• Track, maintain, and report safety-stock levels across multiple warehouses and respond to changing usage trends and demand.
• Review Engineering Changes and assess their impact on key planning and purchasing data in the MRP system.
• Analyze and report on key master data, and maintain supplier pricing and lead-time information.
• Support the Supply Chain Procurement Lead by converting Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders based on MRP demand or external department requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and delivery.
• Assist the Operations Supply Chain Team with other duties as needed.
