About The Position

As an Operations Supply Analyst within Operations Supply Controller, you’ll drive innovation and optimization to enable business growth and strategic contributions across a broad, cross-functional landscape. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written, verbal and data visualization skills to synthesize and present in an effective, concise manner. The successful candidate will understand the supply chain processes in order to drive positive business outcomes through effective change management and communication skills. This role will participate in resource and factory material planning, work closely with the factory and operations teams, as well as be responsible for material inventory audits and movement of material to the factory. In this position, the ownership & use of metrics will be key to maintaining Material Requirements Planning (MRP) health and drive the expected level of performance to support contractual obligations. This is a factory facing role with a requirement to be onsite 5 days/week.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Microsoft office tools
  • Experience with organizational tools
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred major in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environment
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related manufacturing engineering ideally in a government contractor environment
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

Responsibilities

  • Material Stock Availability; creating the line of balance between customer demands, product inventory, and production levels
  • Prepare production requisitions based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
  • Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build
  • Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements
  • Provide status on material availability, and potential supply problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
  • Work daily to confirm material supply and demands
  • Coordinate cross-functional interdepartmental activity as needed (i.e. with Quality Assurance, Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics),
  • Take corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
  • PRISM functions, assessing supply resources
  • Aggregate and prioritize demand profile requirements
  • Plan inventory
  • Coordinate material for all products and all activities impacting hardware build
