Requirements

• 3+ years in the waste industry (Landfill or Transfer experience is a huge plus!).
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Comfortable working outdoors (about 70% of the time) and can handle the Florida heat and the hustle of a loud, busy site.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a SWANA certification (for Transfer Stations) within 60 days.
• Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
• Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and inspire a productive workforce.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure everyone goes home the same way they arrived.
• Implement preventive maintenance and manage inventory.
• Project a professional image and ensure we are conforming to all local and federal regulations.
