Operations Supervisor
About The Position
Pratt Industries USA, the world's largest, privately-owned paper and packaging company in the USA, which is 100% post consumer recycled, has a position available in their Staten Island, New York facility for a hands-on Operations Supervisor for our Recycling Division. The ideal candidate must be proficient in working in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Sort-line and transfer of material within a mill/recycling complex. All compliance reporting and maintenance record keeping. Periodically required to perform temporary coverage for Recycling Management and Operations Positions.
Requirements
- Min. Associates College Degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Previous supervisory skills
- Able to work days and flexible nights
Nice To Haves
- Operators experience (Ex. forklift, crane, payloader, roll-off)
- Mobile equipment license a plus
- Equipment maintenance experiences also a plus
