Safely monitor and supervise all site operations and employees while ensuring all equipment is in proper working order. Provide leadership, which results in positive employee/employer relations. Requirements

• At least a year of supervisory experience (or you’ve been a Rockstar Lead Driver at GFL).
• Know your way around a computer.
• Can talk CDL regulations in your sleep.
• Ready to handle the early mornings and the fast-paced energy of the waste industry.
• Care about your team, your community, and the environment.
• Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
• Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

• Safely monitor and supervise all site operations and employees while ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
• Provide leadership, which results in positive employee/employer relations.
• Project a professional corporate image, effective resource management, a sound risk management program, high production standards and business expansion and profitable operations.
• Coordinate drivers and helpers to ensure our service is as smooth as a Florida sunrise.
• Ensure everyone goes home safe. Lead the charge in safety culture, turning "regulations" into a badge of honor for your team.
• Use our tech to track productivity, ensuring we’re the leanest, meanest green cleaning machine in the state.
• Be the go-to expert on CDL regulations, keeping our fleet legal, lethal (to waste!), and looking sharp.
• Scout, hire, and train the best in the business.
• Optimize routes for a fleet of massive trucks.
• Handle route observations and staying connected to the pulse of central VA.
• When a truck breaks down or a route gets blocked, be the one with the plan. Stay cool under pressure and keep the wheels turning.
