About The Position

ShipMonk is seeking an Operations Supervisor for its Military Leadership Path program. This role is designed for individuals with military leadership or civilian supervisory experience who can lead teams, manage logistics, and make decisions in fast-paced environments. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 25-30 warehouse associates, setting clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and attendance, and driving operational performance through data-driven decision-making. This is an on-site role in Las Vegas, supporting ShipMonk's fulfillment operations.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of military leadership, supervisory, team-lead, or personnel oversight experience OR 2+ years of civilian leadership experience in operations, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading people, maintaining accountability, and executing operational objectives
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret data and use metrics to improve performance
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime based on business needs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an NCO, Senior NCO, Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer
  • Military experience in logistics, transportation, supply, maintenance, aviation support, engineering, or operations
  • Degree or coursework in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous-improvement experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop approximately 25–30 warehouse associates
  • Set clear expectations and maintain accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and attendance
  • Lead shift huddles and communicate daily priorities
  • Monitor operational KPIs and adjust labor and workflows as conditions change
  • Use operational data to identify root causes and improve performance
  • Train and develop associates while identifying future frontline leaders
  • Partner with teams across HR, Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to solve problems
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and equipment, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Communicate clearly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, eliminate waste, and strengthen execution
