About The Position
The Operations Supervisor plans, directs, and assigns work activities in a manufacturing or distribution department. The role supports and implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements to operating methods, equipment, people, materials, and working conditions. The position is based in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and operating material-handling equipment. It may involve extended standing or walking on concrete floors and using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The work is fast-paced and time- and safety-sensitive, with shift schedules that support production and distribution needs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Supervisory Management or a related field.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience with manufacturing or warehouse equipment and department processes.
