About The Position

The Operations Supervisor oversees daily warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) environment supporting a data center operation. The role ensures efficient inbound, outbound, and inventory processes while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service. The supervisor leads a team of associates, drives performance, and supports continuous improvement to meet operational and client expectations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience supervising in an automotive, manufacturing, or supply chain/logistics facility.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Quality systems knowledge sufficient to monitor staff performance and departmental costs, including timekeeping, quality, and productivity.

Nice To Haves

Experience or training related to Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, or Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate work, train and motivate team members, monitor and evaluate performance, and ensure team members can safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.
Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document daily production metrics.
Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize workplace accidents.
Ensure employees comply with processes, work instructions, standard work, and work elements.
Liaise with the materials department to ensure timely receipt and shipment of material.
Perform other duties as assigned.
