About The Position

The Operations Supervisor supports leadership and operational direction for departments at Exemplar Luxury Group’s East Coast Distribution Center in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Departments may include Inbound, Outbound, Quality, Returns, and other areas as needed. The role supports productivity and performance accuracy across operations, while helping lead and develop employees and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and effective work environment. The position is assigned to the night shift and may require extra time according to business needs.

Requirements

At least 3 years of qualitative or quantitative management experience in a similar role in Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, or Inventory Management.
Knowledge of and experience with automated order fulfillment systems.
Knowledge of WMS systems, quality measurements, productivity measurements, and related processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to articulate a position and achieve buy-in.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster productive relationships at every level.
Creative problem-solving ability and ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to overcome obstacles and deliver results.
Understanding of English, both written and verbal, and ability to demonstrate English communication comprehension during the interview process.

Responsibilities

Support leadership and develop employees to achieve operational and productivity goals while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Conduct daily shift meetings and support workforce staffing and scheduling to meet business needs.
Promote safety initiatives and protocols, conduct regular safety meetings, and encourage safety awareness.
Support area operations, including productivity, inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality assurance.
Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor and analyze KPIs, develop and execute action plans, and address performance concerns to meet targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Generate and analyze operational performance reports and present findings to senior management.
Track attendance and timekeeping daily.
Work the assigned shift and additional time as business needs require.
