About The Position

At Accurate Courier Services, we don't simply transport packages—we ensure hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, and healthcare providers receive the critical medical materials they need to care for patients. This role involves leading a team of employee medical couriers performing scheduled routes and time-sensitive on-demand deliveries. The position combines office, field, and driving responsibilities, requiring a candidate who can provide real-time operational support, manage equipment, and foster a culture of safety and customer service.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in logistics, transportation, healthcare operations, distribution, or a related field.
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Working knowledge of the Northern California service area, including San Jose, the East Bay, and the Peninsula.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business needs.
Ability to travel throughout the service area and drive extended distances when necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or vocational education is a plus.
Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle with current registration and proof of insurance.
Comfortable using smartphones, GPS navigation, Microsoft Office, and mobile workforce applications.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of employee medical couriers performing scheduled routes and time-sensitive on-demand deliveries.
Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and coach new team members.
Provide real-time operational support by resolving service issues and assisting drivers throughout the day.
Audit routes, schedules, and procedures to ensure service excellence, efficiency, and compliance.
Manage company equipment and supplies, including phones, ID badges, delivery bags, and temperature-control materials.
Review timesheets, productivity, service metrics, and customer feedback to improve performance.
Partner with Dispatch and Operations leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Build positive relationships with healthcare customers while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Foster a culture centered on safety, accountability, teamwork, and customer service.
