About The Position

Richelieu Hardware is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor – Evening Shift to join its management team at the Ville Saint-Laurent distribution center. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working closely with employees, solving problems, and contributing to operational improvements. The successful candidate will join an experienced management team to ensure the smooth operation of the distribution center.

Requirements

Supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment
Positive leadership and the ability to engage and motivate a team
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
Basic to intermediate computer skills (Excel, operational systems, WMS or ERP)
Good communication skills in French and functional English

Nice To Haves

Experience in a unionized environment
Knowledge of performance indicators (KPIs)
Familiarity with forklifts and warehouse operations
College diploma or equivalent experience
Motivated, organized individual capable of helping their team grow in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of approximately 20 warehouse employees on the evening shift
Plan and coordinate daily receiving, order preparation, and shipping activities
Ensure operational priorities and delivery deadlines are met
Support, motivate, and develop your team members
Monitor performance and maintain a positive and safe work environment
Participate in resolving operational issues and in continuous process improvement
Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure an efficient transition between shifts
Ensure compliance with work procedures and health and safety standards
