About The Position

The Truth is looking for an Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for the overall daily operations within the venue, including coordinating event set up and tear down, ingress preparation, chair sets, and overall venue readiness. Working directly with and reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing and deploying Set Up and Tear Down Crew on day of show (DOS), collaborating with department leads, ensuring smooth event operations, addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and maintaining high service standards throughout the venue.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of high-volume venue operations and guest relations
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions and effectively diffuse problematic situations
  • Skills in guest relations/staff relations- Assessing and anticipating special needs of guests
  • Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude
  • Turn potentially negative situations into positive ones
  • Communicate well with team members and managers and foster an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie
  • High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a live music environment
  • College diploma in related field

Responsibilities

  • Works directly with the Operations Manager to perform day of show duties and helps implement process improvements and operational strategies
  • Respond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities, as well as our VIP program and seat upgrades
  • Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service-related situations
  • Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure that service standards are met
  • Conduct pre-event and post-event venue walkthroughs to ensure spaces are clean, safe, properly configured, and event-ready
  • Fosters positive experiences for guests, staff, and other stakeholders in a manner that establishes the venue as a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment
  • Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy
  • Inform guests of venue amenities & make recommendations
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered
  • Schedule Set Up and Tear Down Crew for events
  • Lead Chair Sets for seated shows in the Main Hall, as well as for any Special Events at the venue
  • Create daily work lists for Set Up and Tear Down Crew
  • Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members
  • Create pre-shift sheets and relay information from management directly to staff
  • Turn in all lost and found articles to Box Office
  • Communicate to M.O.D. any issues that guests or team members may have
  • Work with the M.O.D. to resolve any and all guest issues- consults or involves management if the situation escalates
  • Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies, SOPs, guest service standards, and safety regulations
  • Responsible for completing incident reports and collecting witness statements
  • Assist MOD with all ejection logs and incident reports
  • Required to work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue
