Requirements

  • Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse, distribution, or 3PL environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work mid-shift (1pm- production close)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of FDA and DEA regulations related to pharmaceutical handling and storage is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse associates, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
  • Monitor and manage daily operational workflows, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, DEA).
  • Optimize labor utilization and resource allocation to meet production goals and customer service level agreements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and operational processes.
  • Generate and analyze operational reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service, quality assurance, and transportation, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to management as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
