CEVA Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor II to oversee transportation and customs processes. This role involves providing customer service for the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products in accordance with federal and foreign regulations. The position requires developing and providing excellent customer service, supervising departmental activities, assisting in staff and customer retention and training, and conducting staff meetings to assess status, discuss improvements, and inform staff of new developments. The role also involves addressing employee performance issues promptly and directly, overseeing performance statistics, reviewing shipment documentation for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, the Operations Supervisor II will compute duties, tariffs, and conversions, communicate with customs officials to resolve delays, establish and monitor policies and procedures for customs clearance, identify areas of concern in client import/export processes, and communicate progress and issues to the operations manager. A flexible work schedule, including outside normal business hours and on-call rotation, is required. The role also entails participating in and/or supervising department projects.
