RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage all people and processes to meet the department safety goals, quality standards, and production schedules through the execution of daily leader standard work. • Work cross functionally with quality, engineering, IT and program management within the organization to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement. • Work with various internal stake holders, including other supervisors, to meet the specific requirements of each unique, individual client. • This is a leadership position that is responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing the work of individual operators. • Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to achieve cultural and performance standards. • Responsible for possessing a general understanding of all areas within the organization and the ability to work with the experts within those areas • All other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: • Bachelor’s degree preferably in an Engineering discipline with at least two years Manufacturing Operations experience. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. • Supervisory experience is a must, three to five years is preferred • The ideal candidate will have experience with sterile and non-sterile packaging of medical devices. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and superior interpersonal skills • Experience in highly skilled assembly and packaging processes is a plus • Must possess a high attention to detail, high energy and interest in process improvement, along with the ability to work in a team environment • Applicant must be proficient with basic computer spreadsheets and word processing as well as Outlook for e-mail use Experience Required 2 year(s): At least two years Manufacturing Operations experience
