Operations & Strategy Intern

AmpliworkMontreal, QC

About The Position

As an Operations & Strategy Intern, you will be the right hand to our Business Manager, supporting the day-to-day operations of an international AI startup across three legal entities (Canada, US, UK). You will get hands-on exposure to finance, HR, legal, contracts, and administration — while also contributing fresh thinking on where AI agents can streamline our own internal operations. You will work closely with the Business Manager, the CEO, and cross-functional leads across product, engineering, sales, and pre-sales. This is a high-trust, high-learning role for a curious, organized student who thrives on ownership, variety, and getting things done.

Requirements

  • Resourceful and self-starting you figure things out, ask the right questions, and find a way to get to "done."
  • A genuinely curious mindset you seek to understand the real problem behind the brief, not just the task in front of you.
  • Genuine interest in AI and how it’s reshaping the way companies operate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
  • High attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

  • Brainstorm and document where AI agents could be deployed to streamline our work.
  • Map current workflows and propose AI-augmented versions, including high-level specs and use cases.
