Operations Sr Specialist
About The Position
Togetherhood is revolutionizing enrichment and education for children from preschool to high school. We are a fast-growing technology marketplace that makes it super simple for passionate instructors to connect with communities to create world class afterschool enrichment programs. We serve schools, community based organizations, and residential communities. Our mission is to infuse every community with high quality enrichment and education. We are seeking a resourceful and systems-oriented Business Operations Specialist to join our Operations team (supply side of marketplace). This role will be cross-trained on a variety of Operational areas, and is therefore great for someone who is interested in learning Operations at a mission-driven, early-stage startup.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, project management, or process-oriented roles in tech-first organizations
- Interest in early-stage startups and comfort in that type of environment
- Embrace technology in all you do
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Can keep calm under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Eager to learn about EdTech or Marketplace Tech organizations
- Must be able to work in office (Bryant Park area) 3 days per week
Responsibilities
- Own and Execute Key Operational Processes
- Coordinate with the Community Operations Lead to manage outreach to instructors to ensure Day 1 readiness
- Support our Business Operations Lead with day-to-day staffing requests and instructor matching
- Troubleshoot instructor concerns within our ticketing support system
- Track and document quality concerns, statuses, confirmations, and class-level notes
- Support with new instructor onboarding and engagement
- At peak seasonal times, support our Talent Acquisition team to review candidate qualifications and fulfill time-sensitive requests
- Build, Automate, and Track Operational Processes
- Document step-by-step operational processes with clarity and structure
- Help implement AI-based automations and agents into routine workflows, in partnership with Leadership and Product team
- Automate communication workflows (email/SMS) and response tracking improvements
- Partner with leadership to develop reports and dashboards for tracking operational KPIs
- Learn, Grow, and Contribute to Scaling
- Contribute ideas and solutions for automating and streamlining other areas beyond talent matching
- Help shape documentation and playbooks for new workflows, automations, and AI-integrated systems
- Support Operations Leadership in special projects as they come up
