About The Position

Aurelius Systems is seeking an Office & Operations Specialist to manage their San Francisco office and lab. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations, including managing facilities, vendors, supplies, and the overall office environment. The specialist will be responsible for preventing operational bottlenecks, such as material shortages or vendor issues, that could impact the build team. • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple vendors and timelines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working on a hardware floor, including lifting boxes and managing pallets.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity in an early-stage company with evolving processes.
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" (U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or certain protected classes of asylees and refugees) due to access to export-controlled information.

Nice To Haves

  • Veteran with military supply, admin, or logistics background.
  • ITAR-aware shipping and receiving experience.
  • Notary or basic facilities certifications.
  • Experience supporting events or company offsites.

Responsibilities

  • Manage office facilities, including supplies, vendors, repairs, and coordination of build-outs.

  • Handle visitor and customer logistics for site visits and demonstrations at the SF lab.
  • Maintain inventory of office and lab consumables, PPE, safety supplies, and general stock.
  • Manage office snacks, lunches, and the in-office experience to maintain team productivity.
  • Coordinate logistics for SF-based team events and offsites.
