Operations Specialist

Aurelius SystemsSan Francisco, CA
$90,000 - $120,000Onsite

About The Position

Aurelius Systems is a VC-backed defense tech startup focused on developing autonomous, edge-deployed directed energy systems for counter-UAS, essentially building laser weapons to neutralize drones. The company emphasizes a culture of 'unreasonable output' and direct action, inspired by figures like Marcus Aurelius and Henry Ford. With facilities in San Francisco and a manufacturing hub in Detroit, they also conduct weekly field tests on a private range. The Operations Specialist will be crucial for maintaining the San Francisco lab and build floor, working closely with the Head of Operations to manage daily operational tasks that support builds, test preparations, and overall team efficiency. This is a hands-on, floor-based role requiring a proactive individual who can identify needs, resolve issues quickly, and ensure the environment is organized and functional. Responsibilities may include hardware receiving, vendor coordination, supply restocking, test event setup, and proactively addressing potential blockers.

  • Ability to carry, lift, or move 50 lbs in and around the warehouse and at the range as needed

  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by U.S. law (U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or certain protected classes of asylees and refugees)
