About The Position

Three Rivers FS Company is seeking an Operations Specialist to assist in daily operational duties at the facility. This role operates commercial sprayers or floaters for crop input application, and operates and maintains single or tandem axle trucks and other equipment. The position requires performing all job functions in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization.

Requirements

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
0-2 years of related work experience.
Must be able to acquire and maintain a Class A CDL license with required endorsements.
Must have a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.
Must be able to have and maintain all required pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses or certifications in states where crop production inputs are applied.
Responsible for renewing licenses or certifications as required and reporting status of licenses or certifications to the Location Manager.
Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.

Responsibilities

Maintaining operations at retail supply location and following the maintenance schedule of the facility and equipment.
Managing inventory and distribution of products, and making deliveries of customer products as requested.
Stocking and moving warehouse product and material, loading and unloading containers, pallets, or materials and products safely onto/off trucks, trailers, or railcars, ensuring products are evenly balanced and distributed on trucks/trailers and proper axle weights are met.
Assisting both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
Assisting Crop Specialists and Precision Farming Team with installs, data, mapping, and other internal and external customer needs.
Maintaining the facility and equipment image.
Assisting in obtaining goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Working with the location manager on all safety and compliance issues.
Safely operating sprayers, floaters, single or tandem axle trucks, and other equipment to meet company and DOT standards.
Performing and recording daily safety checks of assigned vehicle(s) and associated equipment by conducting pre-trip inspections, such as checking fuel and oil levels, inspecting tires, lights, and brakes.
Ensuring all products are accounted for with either an invoice or delivery ticket.
Maintaining, repairing, rebuilding, and/or servicing location equipment, vehicles, and structures as needed.
