Three Rivers FS Company is seeking an Energy Sales & Delivery Driver/Operations Specialist to drive energy trucks over established routes, build and maintain customer relationships and energy sales, and deliver lp and petroleum products to customer residences, farms, and commercial businesses. This role is responsible for recording transactions, obtaining signatures, and collecting payments on deliveries. The position also involves working in operations during peak seasons, making it a shared role for operations and energy. Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • One to two years or more of related work experience required.
  • Appropriate drivers license, CDL with Hazmat, Tank and air brakes.
  • Must pass required CEPT schooling.
  • Employee must be insurable to operate required vehicles.
  • Ability to operate required vehicles.
  • Working knowledge of applicable company computer programs, such as ticket making software.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proven professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment and maybe required to help in other departments as needed.

  • Service customer- tanks, equipment- help answer questions and make sure they understand products.

  • Help organize and communication customer needs in regards to equipment repair and summer tank painting.
  • Assist in maintaining the equipment for the fields, delivery to fields and working in operations when not in energy truck.

Responsibilities

  • Drive energy trucks over established routes.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and energy sales.
  • Deliver lp and petroleum products (fuel, oil, etc.) to customer residences, farms, and commercial businesses.
  • Record transactions on customer deliveries and obtain customer signatures on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Responsible for collection on deliveries made to customer’s accounts.
  • Work in operations within the county during the peek seasons.
  • Establish efficient routes and schedule to maximize customer satisfaction and profitable Company operation.
  • Grow and maintain customer relationship base and gallons with contracts, summer fills, and promote programs.
  • Assist in production selection and advise on the use and application of products sold.
  • Install fuel, pumps and repair petroleum equipment for customers.
  • Install LP equipment, complete annual leak checks and public assemblys.
  • Service customer- tanks, equipment- help answer questions and make sure they understand products.
  • Responsible for the contracting of energy products along with handling complaints promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining the Fuel 24 facilities in a neat and professional manner.
  • Inform customers of new products or services and communicates sales leads to energy salesperson.
  • Complete and turn in daily sales reports and complete inventory of truck and energy plant.
  • Help organize and communication customer needs in regards to equipment repair and summer tank painting.
  • Assist in maintaining the equipment for the fields, delivery to fields and working in operations when not in energy truck.
  • Operate computer/handheld using ticket creation software.
  • Maintain the truck and plant equipment according to company standards and perform routine maintenance on the truck.
  • Work additional hours to meet season demands.
  • Allow for flexibility in work schedule in order to ensure order completion.
  • Adhere to the company environmental, health, and safety policies and does required safety training.
  • May serve on the location Safety Committee.
  • Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.
  • All other duties assigned by the manager.
