About The Position

Goldenwest Credit Union is seeking an Operations Specialist to join their team. This role involves assisting department personnel with various financial operations including wires, mobile deposits, IRAs, OFAC, ACH, drafts, and processing insurance claims. The ideal candidate will have a positive, service-focused attitude, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to professionalism and member trust. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed base wage, bonus, and incentive.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Professional communication in writing, over the phone, email, and spoken.
• Active listening skills.
• Positive, service focused attitude.
• Ability to multi-task and remain composed during demanding moments.
• Ability to work independently to accomplish task and goals daily.
• Organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review mobile deposit checks; approve and deny checks.
• Assist branching with OFAC and wires.
• Assist, as needed, with other responsibilities within Operations; drafts, IRA’s, Insurance and ACH.
• Provide consistent member follow-up.
• Comply with all regulations as required by law.
• Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.
