About The Position

Sika is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join its growing team in the Chicago area for our Pavers and Garden Roof teams. The operations coordinator will play a key role in preparing quotes for custom garden roof materials, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all daily quotations within the shared quote tracker, processing sedum carpet, tile, and tray orders in SAP, scheduling and coordinating deliveries for plant orders, and monitoring orders in shared order tracker.

Requirements

3+ years of administrative, operations, or leadership support experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial plant environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with SAP, ERP, or EHS systems a plus.
Knowledge of plant operations, union relations, safety, and compliance standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, or similar).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
High integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

Responsibilities
