About The Position

Koniag Data Solutions (KDS) has an opening for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual to perform Operations Support duties for our customer in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The Operations Specialist - Site Lead role will perform various duties to support KDS and our government customer, including distributing notices, assembling briefing packages, reviewing calendars, tracking action items, coordinating special programs, and managing tasks in ETMS2. This role also involves facilitating communication, translating strategic goals into daily tasks for a 10-person team, collecting and verifying daily sitreps and labor metrics, reviewing timesheets and leave, ensuring compliance with expense reports, participating in client review meetings, and mitigating operational risks. The position requires maintaining vigilance over workspace security and ensuring adherence to operational security rules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, desired.
  • 3-9 years of experience providing similar support
  • Data analysis experience for maintaining spreadsheets of programs, actions, tasking and document processing statistics.
  • Experience with Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2), the Ammunition Enterprise Portal (AEP) meSpace, and various Army program management database suites.
  • Required to obtain/maintain Secret clearance, to assist with taskings on classified subjects.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute (e-mail) notices, memos, minutes of meetings, and other correspondence
  • Support assembly of senior level briefing packages often with quick turn-arounds
  • Review calendars to ensure coordination
  • Assist in the compilation of an event calendar for senior leadership
  • Track action items
  • Coordinate special programs and projects
  • Support task management in ETMS2 (upwards of 300 tasks per month)
  • Facilitate communication between employees and PM to enhance open lines of communication
  • Participate in the planning of employee engagement activities
  • Translate the PM's high-level strategic goals into daily taskings for the 10-person team, serving as the critical data conduit back to the remote office.
  • Collect, verify, and push daily sitreps, accurate labor metrics, and local impact assessments to the PM to populate formal Monthly Status Reports (MSRs)
  • Review and approve employee timesheets, track leave, and ensuring absolute accuracy
  • Verify compliance with expense report submission or request review and approval from PM
  • Participate in PMR and quarterly client review meetings
  • Ensure government personnel do not directly supervise contractor staff, preventing contract breaches
  • Resolve client concerns, project bottlenecks, and standard operational friction before it impacts the broader contract
  • Assist with onboarding activities including base operations protocol and overview of customer mission focus
  • Mitigate operational risks, identify delays early, and execute pre-approved corrective action plans
  • Maintain extreme vigilance over workspace security, ensuring the team strictly follows SCIF, SIPR/NIPR, and general operational security rules
