About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking an Operations SME to join our team at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. This role requires a candidate with 10-12 years of relevant experience, the ability to provide military aviation expertise to support joint training, test, and evaluation activities, and the capability to coordinate manned and unmanned aviation, ISR, C2, fires, and multi-domain capabilities into test events and exercises. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and possess or be able to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher, which may be sponsored for the right candidate. The position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Requirements

10-12 years of relevant experience.
Ability to provide military aviation expertise to support joint training, test, and evaluation activities.
Ability to coordinate manned and unmanned aviation, ISR, C2, fires, and multi-domain capabilities into test events and exercises.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

Serve as an Operations SME and Joint Forces Planner, providing military aviation expertise to support joint training, test, and evaluation activities.
Develop and integrate operationally realistic scenarios, mission profiles, CONOPS, and training objectives representative of joint and contested environments.
Coordinate manned/unmanned aviation, ISR, C2, fires, and multi-domain capabilities into test events and exercises.
Support test planning, mission execution, data collection, and operational assessment to evaluate system capabilities and mission effectiveness.
Identify capability gaps, operational risks, and lessons learned, translating results into actionable recommendations for tactics, training, and future test requirements.
