The Operations Site Manager will oversee end-to-end production operations across all service areas, implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency. This role involves managing, leading, and supporting a team of approximately 16–24 employees, managing production schedules to meet output targets, customer deadlines, and cost constraints, and ensuring smooth coordination of schedules, staffing, and workflow. The manager will supervise drivers and oversee cremation and aquamation operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DEP, and industry-specific regulations while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and professionalism. Responsibilities also include budgeting and cost control, monitoring performance using KPIs, providing coaching and development to team members, collaborating with leadership to improve operational processes, handling escalations, and coordinating with vendors and the supply chain. The role requires demonstrated sensitivity and professionalism when handling deceased pets and interacting with grieving pet owners, and the ability to work in environments with exposure to biological materials, strong odors, elevated temperatures, and operational equipment. Compliance with workplace safety standards, including PPE, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual handling are also necessary. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is required.
